Singing for their hero
Sgt. Seth Cole listens as kindergarten students in his mother's class sing Proud to be an American, Thursday at Banyan Creek Elementary School in Delray Beach. He just returned from serving in Iraq where he saw combat in the town of Fallujah. His mother, Allyne Cole, is a kindergarten teacher at the school and her students from this year and last year became his pen pals sending him letters and gifts. He came to the school Thursday to meet the students, thank them and answer their questions about the war.
